Chris Klomp

Chris is the CEO of Collective Medical Technologies (CMT), a Salt Lake City, UT-based developer of complex patient healthcare analytics and case management software. He started working on CMT full-time in 2014 alongside two co-founding childhood best friends, all from Boise, ID. Previously, Chris was Vice President, North American Private Equity at Bain Capital. Based in Boston, MA, he worked there from 2007 – 2014, save for a hiatus at Stanford Graduate School of Business, from which he graduated with an MBA as an Arjay Miller Scholar. Chris began his career as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company (because, clearly, he knew so much about business as a recently-minted undergrad in English and Economics), where he worked from 2004 – 2007 in Dallas, TX and Johannesburg, South Africa. Chris graduated with honors from Brigham Young University in 2004. Among the many odd jobs he held during adolescence and college, his most influential include time cleaning toilets as a janitor (thankless, hard work), guiding whitewater (telling stories), and selling door-to-door (building honest relationships, quickly).

Chris joined Endurance after years of pestering by Alex. He is married to a true saint of a wife who is (unfortunately for her) his better along virtually every dimension. They have been blessed with two mind-blowingly-awesome children and, together, love all things outdoors, food, community, and one another. Chris enjoys piloting small aircraft (though, of late, wouldn’t get in a plane with himself) and is passionate about life and matters of consequence.
